This is where we need Harry Hogge. "I need you to go back out on that track and hit the pace car."

What was up with that last mystery caution with 2 or 3 laps to go?, an attempt by nascar to bunch the field back up and have a dash to the finish.

I knew they wouldn't replay that Danica pit lane incident when they did the "Race Recap". Whenever Danica makes a stupid mistake, they try to trivialize it, Waltrip tries to explain it away, and then the announcers move on.

This is the best video about Danica that I've ever seen.

That video pretty well sums it up, even Tony Stewart was on it 3 times that I counted.

Seriously...... She screwed up something that most gearhead teenagers could pull off without a hitch..... Maybe not with 800hp, but still, she is supposed to be a Pro.....

Mike

THANK YOU for posting that.

My wife will appreciate watching it. Mrs. Champ is a pro at what she does and is all for promoting women for any job there is - as long as they are qualified. But she thinks it's embarrassing to all women that Danica is trying to masquerade as a NASCAR driver for the 5th year in a row.

Danica's proven that she isn't qualified.

It was Danica's first wreck of the day that nearly ended Matt Kenseth's day. When she and Josh Wise got together and spun causing the caution to come out, rookie Timmy Hill didn't slow down and rammed the rear of Kenseth's Toyota.

To Timmy's credit - he took full responsibility for his failure to slow down.

It was human error. Someone in the flag stand (not the flagman) accidently leaned on the manual override switch, causing the caution lights to come on at lap 499. With the lights on - the flagman waived the yellow flag.

Robin Pemberton has said that NASCAR will work to make sure that this does not happen again.

Well, here's a tie-in between Mark Martin and Pontiacs!

(yes, I know the wheels are wrong, but the history of this car is what I found interesting).

David

I think you linked the wrong video. I watched the whole thing. It's a nice tribute - but the title is appropriate - and does not sound like what you intended to post:

"Say Hello To Heaven: Fatal Crash Compilation & Tribute"
