Did I miss this sighting by one day? Being in Lincoln on April 3?
Just like Formulabruce said... If you leave that beast laying around too long in Lincoln, it'll likely get Lucy or Adriatic blue paint on it

Someone really went to great lengths to commemorate the BMW sport package cars (ME3 or something like that) of that day and time. They even used gold inset basket weave wheels like those on that vintage of BMW's.
Looks like a great car that just needs a lil corrective paint work and some wheels. Congrats Boss |

I swear I saw this car on a transporter on Saturday afternoon in Brighton, MI. Hard to miss the exclusive paint on that gem.

Bob,
You did see the car on a transporter on Saturday. it was dropped off to me on Monday, and Chris came in to get it after he went to Mike Nixon's funeral down in Indiana. |

I knew it had to be the same car. Not a paint scheme you see everyday........thank God!

Cool. Love the vintage decals, too. Bondurant moved from Sears Point to AZ a long time ago...

That's a weird rear end setup huh?
I'd love to run a rear sway bar, but my traction bars wont let me.

Dont need one for going straight, and they can restrict the squat and traction the traction bars are supposed to give, especially if too tight..

That's true. I kinda want to move away from the "straight line" setup anyways. Its no fun having to slow waaaay down to take corners that a civic could take.

I have no idea what or how the traction bars & sway bar are supposed to work/interact but to say this car is stiff would be an understatement. A considerable amount of time, money & effort were spent on this car, hopefully I'll find out everything from the original owner. Just on cursory inspections, the original trans has a cooling pan attached to it, there is a power trunk release that's been added and an in-glass rear defroster, which is not a simple task!
BTW, to answer Chuck's question, the fronts are 265/50/15 and rub just a touch on hard turns.

I have a set of Enkeis like those... The wheels are almost NOS.. Sold the car but still have the wheels. A buddy gave me the wheels a few years ago....they have 30yo Pierelli tires on them with maybe 500 miles on them.
