Looked pretty good until I saw the lower row of pics. Rust city, aka Detroit.

The red Firebird belongs to someone here I think....at least I've seen the pics posted here.
I remember now.... Someone here did the work and the owner decided not to finish so he's trying to sell it for the owner.
I like the '64 Bonneville.

Being it's listed FS in "(Alamogordo)" wonder if it has that "Glow-In-The-Dark" "locally acquired" option?

I think Grundy is taking him for a ride. Sure its worth $40k, just keep making those payments buddy, while looking at the probability of something happening.

That master cylinder has to be worth $1k alone.

Its like a bad sequel to Smoky N The Bandit where Buford builds a car to catch the Bandit - and still doesn't.

40K for the LeMans, I don't know who has the biggest ego. But I know that Grundy likes him making those payments for it. I just wonder who did the est. for that piece. I just think someone has him convinced that it's worth that.

I like all the 73-77 cars but I think what happened here is he started in one direction & got off on a bunch of different ideas to add to the car & it looks like this now. It just not put together in any one direction but it went in a bunch of them. The finished car now is a bunch of ideas all in one car. Just not my cup of tea. I'd remove a few thing to make it look like there was at least an idea behind the build.

I don't know about Grundy but Hagerty is 'agreed value'. They did not question my suggestion for the value of my car but I wonder if there is a point where they say, 'Wait a minute, you think it's worth how much?'

There is a catch to the agreed policies , if you have a lose you have to prove the car is worth that much with proof by a certified appraisal, & that doesn't mean your buddy saying it's a great car & worth that much. If you don't have a cert. app. your up a creek, & all they'll give you is what their adjuster says it MAY be worth. Just because they agreed to insure it for that doesn't mean thats what they will pay for it if something happens to it. You also have to prove it's worth that much. They've been doing it for a long time they won't get burned. To many people try that , insure it for big buck but can't find any app'er to give an amount that high so they don't have to pay out. You can't scam the ins. co. their the biggest scammer around & good at it.
