1970 GTO Judge convertible. Yes it's real. I friend of mine just bought it out of North Carolina. He traded a 2002 twin turbo z-o6 corvette and some cash for it. This GTO has some customizing already done on it so, while the engine is out, he wants me to install mirror stainless steel on the firewall and other areas. I would bring it back to stock but not my car.

Those are the wrong wheels for that car. Sounds like the guy is bastardizing the thing

Tim, you would flip out with the interior, its all custom but it is tastefully done.

LOL...my thoughts exactly as I was looking at that picture. I'd love to see more of the 'bird.

Here are some pictures. I put the original seats back in but now have a roll cage in there. The tiger headed 537 gets kicked out of the tracks without it. Fun street car though.

Paul Spotts used to sell them and a company in West Virginia manufactured them, then the company/molds got bought out by Scottrods. You might want to google them and see if they are still in business.

Car looks awesome, I just not a fan of oversize wheels/tires.
Cragar SS's and 15's would be perfect...

I think the orange firewall kills it for me more than the wheels (body colored firewalls are a pet peeve of mine for some reason). The wheels aren't my style but are tastefully done so no real complaints there.

How do you build a $25,000 custom car? Spend $50,000.

My buddy paid over $100,000.00 for the Judge. So maybe its worth only $50,000.00? Could be true depending on the buyer.

It's his money and his car, I hope he enjoys owning the Judge vert. I am with most here wishing he would not modify such a rare piece of Pontiac history, but he owns it now. Nice '69 Bird for sure.

Nothing that can't be returned back to stock fairly easy. I think i will talk him into blacking out the radiator support and cowl, maybe even the fenderwells.

I've seen that GTO somewhere before....
I wouldn't mind seeing the interior, I need ideas for mine. I'm doing a smoothie panel, but it's going to be engine compartment black, like the cowl and inners. That helps makes the engine pop. .

You are about 1hour 20 minutes north of me. I moved from Manassas to here in Louisa but still work 2 days a week in DC/NO.VA. The interior actually looks nice. Needs to be cleaned up and make adjustments/alignments. They also installed a 5 speed tranny.
