Kyle is the real deal.....

and to get back on topic.....

Danica actually had a decent day..... she was top 15 for quite a while, and held her own until the bumping and banging got severe, and seemed to fall back to her usual finishing spot....

Yeah, she can drive in a circle, but can't race.

It actually looked like there was a real good turnout for the race - don't know what ticket prices are at these days but Lord knows the track has paid for itself many times over!

She was doing quite well, ran in the top 10 for a while there at the middle of the race, was in position to finish well, then started going backwards.....

Having a top level pit crew, she normally picks up many spots each stop.

I think she's improved over this season, she's a solid 20th place driver now, up from 25-26th.

She has a top level pit crew and top level equipment - while the drivers that are behind her in points have neither.

She's only 28th in the points - which is worse than she finished last year. Probably will end up finishing no better than 27th at best if she can beat out her boyfriend (who is sucking almost as bad as she is this season)

Tony Stewart is 26th - and he missed 3 races - but she won't catch Tony.

A year ago - I was down in KC for the race.

I got to witness first hand, up close and personal, the racing skill, fortitude and desire of one Danica Patrick.

Our seats were just before turn 1, near the exit from pit road.

Shortly after this:

was this:

She made it to the first corner before wrecking.

Drove her car to the pits and called it a day without finishing a single lap.

I think it's well known that I'm not a Kyle Busch fan. But to Kyle's credit - he is a racer. He has skill, fortitude and desire.

Kyle was also involved in that lap 1 incident with Danica:

Later on, he was again involved in a wreck right in front of me:

Only after his third wreck right in front of me did he retire from the event:

His car had to go off on the hook:

Last year the Touring Princess started 29th and finished dead last. With another year of NASCAR experience under her belt, this year she is starting 30th.

Last year the Ice Queen finished 27th in the points. With another year of NASCAR experience under her belt, this year she is 28th.

That is all...

I can't take it anymore!

The driver of the No. 10 GoDaddy Chevrolet for Stewart-Haas Racing was announced Thursday as a senior editor for The Players' Tribune.

Jeter must be desperate for the female interest for his new venture to make Danica a "senior editor".

Danica predicts her own demise in her first article referring to herself and her boyfriend Ricky Stenhouse Jr. with this comment:

Quote:
"In NASCAR, we have a lot more bad weekends than good ones. That's just the nature of the sport. If you can't get over it, you're going to be miserable or eventually out of a job."
That explains her normally sour disposition at the race track - because she's had so few good days in NASCAR.

Now as for her main squeeze Ricky - he has had many good days. He won the NASCAR Nationwide Championship in 2011 and 2012. But since the two of them hooked up, she has nearly brought him down to her level.

Last year he finished 19th in points while the Touring Princess finished 27th. This year Ricky is in 27th and the Ice Queen is 28th.

At least Ricky has fond memories of racing before they started dating...

And with the current downward trend, Ricky might be back driving in Nationwide soon while Danica goes back to modeling. But she's starting to get a little old for that...

Default Nice tidbit about the touring princess and Ricky

According to Ricky Stenhouse and his mom in an interview:

Quote:
Danica Patrick may go a little to far to try and show she is one of the good ole boys of NASCAR. In a recent interview Ricky Stenhouse Jr. said, his mother doesn’t approve of Patrick’s drinking and her choice of words when she talks.
Stenhouse Jr. admitted that Danica likes to consume her wine, and yes she likes to curses too much. I wonder if she tends to curse more when she consumes more of the grape. Some people tend to get mean when they drink.
Patrick already has a hot temper, could you imagine her with a bottle of wine in her? Stenhouse Jr. did say that Patrick is trying to cut down on her cursing. This can’t be an easy thing for her to do. Maybe she should consider what she sounds like when she talks.
She is able to do interviews without the use of her potty mouth. Why can’t she sit and have dinner with Stenhouse’s mother without swearing? Stenhouse also went on to say that Danica is changing him as well.
She has gotten him to drink more wine which he admits he doesn’t like and she also tries to doll him up in expensive designer clothing too. He admits it is difficult but he goes along with the flow.
I wonder how long this couple will last. People shouldn’t have to change that much to keep a relationship going. They are wither made to be together or they aren’t. If Stenhouse doesn’t go along with Patrick, she might cuss him out….
The touring Princess also was rumored to have come close to losing her sponsorship during her racing stint in England because of excessive drinking.

Could substance abuse could be bringing Stenhouse's average finish down also?

Puzzy whipped by a gocart racer with the body of a 13 year old boy? Time for Ricky to grow a pair and go fishing and hunting. In this case, LISTEN TO YOUR MOM

I have a feeling it's going to be ugly for a few of those guys come Tuesday morning!

And there's a good possibility JJ won't advance?
