Good question.... No one 'new' has recognized the car.

From these forums, Jim Robertson saw the car circa 1988, Bob Wicker circa 1998 and finally Steve Schappaugh in 2006.

Bob Wicker was instrumental in leading us to the first owner after Pete Ganis drove her as a demonstrator. Pete Ganis Jr. does not recall the car. The Pontiac zone 21 zone manager Carl Womble most certainly would have remembered this car since he was probably the person that re-directed Adrian from Friendly Pontiac in Temple to Pete Ganis Pontiac in Dallas where she sold new but Carl has passed away.

Up in Emory TX, Alan Pound of A&R Classics, a noted restorer and hot rod builder (and very good.. I've seen his work) is the one who took the pictures of the car when she was languishing on the side of State hwy 69. Alan put pictures of her on his FB page recently and many friends of Alan, and the previous owner (WC Asbill) noted great stories about the car from herding dairy cows to street fighting with Ford and Dodge products.

But no one has specifically remembered her from new.... YET

Whoever bought that car new got more than their moneys worth.

Couldn't help but grin when realizing she looks better sitting in grass than on pavement in those pictures. lol
Some girls, you can't straiten them out but so much.

Ahhh.... thanks for noticing! A lot of work in sorting that out to be just so. On the four corners, two are dead on, one is 1/8" low and one is 3/16" low.

Example, the drivers front is 8.0625" against the spec of 8.07"

People always find it hard to believe that these cars sit LOWER in the rear from the factory . Your car looks great. The spec calls for FULL tank of fuel and specific tire pressure ( probably on Bias ply tires) .
Lower in the rear helped "flush and dry" Fisher body rocker system, and take off traction, and handling. Seems like you attained the goal.. Love it

OK guys, I'd like to get some help from you....

First, to let the secret out.... Adrian has been chosen to be in the 2016 PPG Platinum Distributors Calendar. WooHoo!

I am very thankful the crew at Musclecar Memories Restorations uses PPG products!

Side note: When I was filling out the paperwork for PPG, it's the first time I realized there is 6 different PPG courses of product on Adrian that were used in various phases of the project... Whew:

DP50LV Gray Epoxy Primer
DPS3055 Gray Acrylic Urethane Surfacer
DAS3025 Gray Acrylic Urethane Sealer
DCC Acrylic Eurathane (red oxide primer)
DBC 2000 Basecoat (CODE 24)
D8152 Performance Glamour Clearcoat

So, last week we went out for a shoot. We chose a Goodyear tire store in downtown San Antonio.

Here's a short list of shots we are considering for the calendar. I couldn't find the online pole that used to be an option on these forums so we'll score them the old fashioned way... by number crunching... Ugh...

Like golf, low score wins, so please rank from 1 to 4, 1 being first choice etc.

Just my thoughts...
1. D License plate showing off to astute onlookers of somethings different.
2. B My thought is the car should have been facing the other way.
3. A Color is off and picture is at a weird angle.
4. C I think the worst of all pictures.

B is the classic calender shot & is all about the car - although I like D almost as much, it's a very busy picture and more about the setting than the car.

I would have voted for "B" if the tires had been clocked so that Goodyear was at the top front and rear. I instead chose "D" with the tower.
