Greg, I have a complete car parked along side of my garage - it's no trouble to measure for you. I'll do that when I return home and take better pics for you.

You are very much right Greg, there's a little hole right there.

Funny, mine is the only one so far that does not have a hole right there in front of the driver's seat. As stated, mine on that side is way over on the extreme left.
One thing I noticed is that when placed as yours all are, they fit into the openings on the underside of the hood vents. I wonder if it was some half-hearted attempt at preventing the hood from moving back into the windshield area and/or damaging the hinges in cases of minor front end collisions?

My 68 has just the one on the driver side. The original rubber bumper is pretty distorted. It has a severe angle sloping toward the front. I didn't see any other holes to make me think there should be anymore. Bryan |

The holes are hard to find. The other hole that should be towards the center may be hidden under the cowl seal.

Yeah, you actually have to push the cowl seal forward to accommodate these things.
By the way, I looked at at least eight different '68s and '69s at the BOP&C show yesterday. Not a single one had these bumpers. Two or three had the screw with a flat washer in place of the center one.

pics from this morning- pulled the car cover back. Will begin work on this one soon. Pictures of all bumpers, front, rear and center. Center bumper is about 1 inch wide and about 3/4 inch tall.
