Dual turbo and n2o. Glad it has a fire suppression system.

Yeah I don't know if I really understand the hate. It's not like the cars they were running were street legal anyway. I haven't street raced in years, but I don't recall there ever being any "rules." Run what you brung and hope you brought enough.

Show never specifically states street cars either, but rather the fastest street raced cars. A verb, not a noun.

I like the new car personally. I think it looks great and hopefully he'll put it back at the top. All I cared about was seeing a poncho under it.

PRI unveil of the CrowMod : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFRvukDBjHc

Great video, gotta love it when he says the car will ALWAYS have a Pontiac engine in it because that's who he is. Then he gets a ovation from the Pontiac guys all standing together.................

Says, "it'll probably be the only Pro Mod with a set of Edelbrock Performer heads on it". He elaborates that his heads only flowed 340, but the turbos are the equalizer, then hints at NOS being used too.

I preferred the Crow for sure, but racing Kye Kelly, John Doe, and other cars that are 800-1000 lbs lighter makes it tough. This is no different than people saying the Kauffman's only hold the record because of what their car weighs.

Instead of complaining and staying slower, Chief has decided to even the playing field.

I much prefer the stock style body cars but who gives a ****, were beyond that now....the questions I have....

-Is it going to be enough to go 5.9X in the 1/4 or break any 1/4 mile Pontiac records?

-Is he going to fit headlights, taillights turn signals etc to make it legal?

-Is it going to see Drag Week? I would love to see a Pontiac ProMod eat up Bailey if at all possible.

Given that there's a need to keep going quicker to stay competitive, there's only 2 choices:

1). Get a new lighter promod style chassis with a Pontiac body and a real Pontiac engine.

****or*****

2) build a new heavy stock Pontiac -bodied chassis and put a big Sonny Leonard BBC derivative in it.

For what it's worth, I like Justin's choice.

I guess I see his point. The guys he is racing have a 200-300 cubic inch advantage. Weight will help him big time. I do like it better in white!

Really??? Slam 2 guys that are both just doing the best thing they can for the Pontiac fans, in the best way they can? The variety of cars on the show and the variety of aftermarket parts or power adders, is what makes it fun to watch and root for your favorite "team"! I for one say "GO Underdog!"

I cannot wait to see a Top Fuel rail with head lights on the street.

Ditto's!
I've never seen Chief start a fight nor talk bad about anybody like others on the show. He's not the one that started this promod on the street thing either. He just says "let's run what you brung!" Chiefs new car, whether you believe in ProMod on the street or not, is the definition of bada**! Go Pontiac!

Wouldn't have to be a 'Top Fuel' dragster?

(my dragster has headlights)
