Much of the program was washed out today, at the National Open. Matt Tankersley reported that his family has 3 cars entered.
Matt: "I'm running super gas, Dad is running super comp & my sister is in super Street on Pontiac powered" Also noticed that Adam Strang is entered in Stock with his '68 stick Bird. Michael Brand has survived 3 rounds of Stock.
http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...er=30#indextop Adam Davis cut a .008 light and ran an 11.127 on an 11.12 dial, in round 2. That should be good enuff for a win, most any day, at any track. Just learned that Ryan Warter won the S/SS combo race, last Sat, May 7, at Bremerton Raceway's National Open, then made it to the semi final round, at the Sunday race. That's a good weekend for Pontiac power !

Big Weekend

Scott Burton & Adam Davis both lost their 1st round of Stock elims.

There are 111 Stockers & 90 Super Stockers on the Qualifying lists, at Norwalk.
Looks like 6 Pontiac Stockers: Bob Michael, Tommy Pettigrew, Juilie Biermann, Billy Foder, Brent Flynn, & Paul Dilcher. http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...er=30#indextop I can spot only 2 SS cars with Pontiac power: Mike Morgan's SS/MA '77 Bird, & Jim Clark's SS/AM '05 GA. Looks like 144 Stockers tried to qualify for this race. They're only gonna run 128. There are a lot of Pontiacs on the list. There are some very familiar names, like: Randi Lyn Shipp, Scott Burton, Adam Davis, and Bob Michael. Others include Julie Biermann, Bryan Phillips, Todd Kuhn, Allen Hollingworth, Lindsey Cramsey, and Paul Dilcher. If any of this info is wrong, somebody please post a correction. Thanks !

I don't know if any other SS cars have Pontiac power. If ya'll spot any, please post that info.
