NOS GM Gas Tank 70 GTO
NOS GM gas tank that I ordered for my 70 GTO in the early 80's from the local Pontiac dealership and is just how I received it from GM w/o any box. This has the vent line fittings on the front of the tank so it can be used on 71 - 72 also. Part #478116, $400 + shipping. Pick up in NW IN 46385.
I have NOS tank straps available also.

Gas tanks never came in a box. I handled a few back in the day.
Ooops I said never 478116 My parts book says 69-70 A & G except S.W. or E.E.S. 21 1/2 gal. w/filler pipe

I was mistaken, there's only one vent nipple & it's 5/16" or 3/8" on the pass side. I guess it wouldn't take much to add additional vent nipples.
