I just sent pictures to the adjuster and fairly IMMEDIATELY he replied with a "thanks, they looked great".

I picked up the incident report at the Pleasant Grove police dept late yesterday. $10. I've lived in PG since 1989 and have never been through the PD door.
I'll fax the 4 page report to the Hagerty adjuster when I get to the office later. The car will move but it's not really driveable, with the fender lip pushed directly over the tire. Taking it for an estimate is gonna be tough.

As noted above, I faxed the incident report up to Hagerty yesterday. About 24 hours ago. I just got a call from the local adjuster they assigned to me and I meet with him at my house this afternoon at 2pm. That handily beats their estimate on contact from a local adjuster.
So far, so good.

Just a thought, before you send it off to the body/paint shop, remove all interior pieces as they will be laying around collecting dust. Mite wanna give them some plastic to cover the engine and put some old tires and wheels on if you have any.
Prolly some other ideas but that's a start. You'll be "shining" next spring. OGR

I had to clay bar my car after the body shop. Wheels and all! over spray gets everywhere.

Next stop, body shop.
Steve, the adjuster, just left. He was here 20 minutes or so. Again, super nice guy. We discussed the car, the wreck and how HE'D handle it. He suggested a body shop that had been recommended to me already, so that's what I'll do. Goolsby's Customs in Hueytown. The said they have a flatbed and would come pick it up so the tire wouldn't be damaged. Door skin replacement (if possible) and pull out the rear qtr. I'll call Goolsby's tomorrow.

Glad you are ok but it could have been worse if it was a head on. A talented shop that works on restorations should have no issue bringing to better than prior to the accident. When I drive my 65 GTO or 67 Firebird, it seems as every hoo-haw is hogging my side of the road or wants to run a stop sign and I'm in their sights.
