Yes, that's Brittany Beige on the 1972 Pontiacs. There aren't too many bad colors back then in my opinion. When I'm sitting at a stoplight nowadays, about 80% of the cars are black, silver, or white. It's like driving in Moscow.
Here's a 1972 LeMans ragtop in Brittany Beige.

Did someone here buy my old Champagne Lemans, with the green buckets and brown top {radio delete-factory air}?

The colors would't hold me back from buying it, but the price would.

I like it in that color.
I really enjoy that era of car building, and that color contributes to the experience. At one time it may have been uncool and commonly blah, but not anymore, not on that car.

I think that Buick looks awesome. No, it's not what caught my eye when I was 16, but it would make most modern grey sedans parked next to it look pretty boring to me. |

A truly BLAH color combo, very common for the time. I would pass on the car because of it.

Cool? Probably, only because few have preserved cars in this combo. Ugly? Sure, many Earthtones haven't aged well, this included. But it matches, and it perfectly represents the color trends for the early 1970s. :twocents: |

I've owned two cars that were not ideal colors: 1971 Laurentian Green on Jade Green and 1972 Springfield Green on Dark Green.... in the future I would only buy off colors like those and this one if car was a nice survivor and either price was way less than comparable good color ones, and / or it had exceptional options. In Formula and GTO one can somewhat get away with off colors but not LeMans or Firebird so much (on sale / resale).
