Default TATA door decals opinion

You guys ok with adding door decals to a 1979 TATA {along with quarter 'Nascar}? Not planning on changing any other decals on my original car. If I add the door decals, should I change every decal for the newness is consistent?

Personally, I don't care for them. If you're selling, then I agree, let the new owner decide.

No doubt its personal preference. I like them on the 80 Pace cars, but don't care for them on the 79 T/A-T/A's I really don't have a good reason why I feel that way either

The only bird that had the decals on the door in 79 were the Formulas. No T/A was ever on the door... fender yes for the TAs (IIRC) but not on the door.

Due to a repaint, I did not have the reapplied to the lower part of the car like it was from the factory. IMO it gives the car a cleaner meaner look. The kids up north called it Knight Rider. Yeah and I corrected them too.... wrong car and wrong year.

Is the Decal pack, that I can get from Phoenix Graphics, for 449, the same one that Ames sells for 849?

Highly doubtful since PG also sell a basic TATA kit and also an Ultimate decal set for just less than Ames.
