Does anyone have access to a 64-65 GTO to measure location of the 4-speed clutch countershaft bracket on the LH Frame Rail?

Couple of questions. You know the fender has to be off to install the bracket? Is your motor mounted in the car? If yes to both, I cut an appropriate length of all thread , screwed it into the block where the pivot ball goes and used it as an alignment pin to locate the bracket.

John, you need to get working on it! Easy for me to say now that my '64 is finally in progress.

I've been "distracted" trying to restore (2) '68 Firebird conv. while Dad's '64 sits in his garage.
Plan is to have the 4-speed conversion done on it so that he can drive it in Woodward Cruise this year.
He's not getting any younger (77 this year)... he bought the '64 in '84 from original owner in Laguna Beach, CA.
and it's basically been sitting in a garage every since.
