Default 12BoltRearend

I very got a really clean Oldsmobile/Pontiac 12 bolt rear I bought from a local guy out of his real cool 65Olds 442 Cutlass ,he swapped out the rear for a to the door. Moser9 inch. He went through the whole thing a couple years ago it's a non posi 323gears has the bolt in axles nice brakes poly bushings, brake lines new seals and bearings no leaks super clean rear ,bolt in I'll probably never use it so 450.00

If I'm not mistaken, that is actually a 10 bolt 'O' type rear. They have a 12 bolt cover. Do you know if it's original to the '65?

It's a 66 has 12 bolt cover with 8.5 inch ring gear you can get posi traction unit for it for around 350.00.

If it’s the “ten bolt twelve bolt”...it’s plenty strong...just not much in the way of gear selection offered for it.

It's what I have under my '68. I'd be interested in this one if it was closer and a '68/'72. Mine's a 2.78.. :/
