Bill, I've followed many of your threads and your posts. Congratulations! That is one beautiful car. And a great back-story, owning it that long and dating your wife in the car. What history. Awesome!

Very well done! Regarding the wood wheel--most of the horn parts are the same as the standard wheel. There is nothing special or hard to find to install the wood wheel--I did it on both our '64's. In my opinion, the '64 wood wheel is the nicest one of all other years of GTO's!. You can certainly get all the help you need on this board when you decide to install it.
The car is absolutely beautiful! Enjoy!!

Very Well Done and you had a history with the Lemans before the restoration.
Love the color and it will be a lot cooler in Texas vs a dark color. Tom V.

That car is so beautiful I could look at it all day and it reminds me of how I got the GTO passion all those decades ago. Excellent! Enjoy your car.

Congrats on a fine restoration, that car is simply stunning.
Not many have the drive and perseverance to see a project of this magnitude through to the end, my hat’s off to you!

Pecos, that's a fine looking car! I've been following your build ever since I became a member on this forum and have enjoyed the entire process. I'm glad that you built it like you wanted to. Regular Tempest, Lemans, GTO, GTO clone, who should care what you do with your own money and car but you. I say good for you! I love my 64 Lemans and plan to keep it that way except for the hood. I happen to like the way the GTO hood looks. I respect others opinions, but they should also respect mine and yours. Job well done on you car!
