A friend of mine told me some people are accidentally getting too much money via direct deposit.

Some $4,000-8,000
Some even in the Millions
... and the Banks are freezing their accounts due to the error

is this true ?

I believe the IRS acknowledged (yesterday?) some erroneous overpayments.

I bet the ones who found their account balance to be 2-4 million had a nice warm fuzzy feeling - even if just briefly.
That could give you a real rush.

I got mine Jerry. I was on SSI until 2018, now just SS.

The wife bought a new vacuum cleaner, she did buy the floor model at a local business, along with some accessories. Ended up saving $200 over buying an untouched unit. She supported the local business, and the guy was very happy she bought from him, instead of purchasing online from Amazon, etc. He's only open 5 hours a day, due to the downturn in the economy.

The covers on my leather seats on my 2005 GTO are split on the seams, and I've been talking about new leather replacement upholstery for a few years. Going to order new covers from a place called Katzskins, in CA.

I'm going to attempt to install the covers myself, and am going to need some hog rings, and pliers. Unfortunately I cannot have covers made locally, no one around here does leather upholstery as far as making full covers.

We will be sending some of it to our small SB church, as they pay the pastor from tithing, but without church services there are no collections.

If there's anything leftover it will go into savings.

I usually buy lunch everyday at a locally franchised fast food place that I'm friends with the 2 owners, trying to keep as many peoples heads above water as we can by spending locally when it makes sense.

You can do that for $2500? I think I'd have to add another zero for that here.
