Got my snarky hat on today, so here we go... 72 Lemans at $6.2K with a reserve. This car has run many times without selling. Decisions were made on this car... decisions not conducive to a high resale IMHO. First of all, this car is mechanically bad ass. I'd bet $5 it'll blow the doors off any RAIV. It went through a full frame off and has an LS3 with a lot of nice work. If you pulled up next to it, what would you think? The blacked out matt color scheme doesn't work IMO and it looks like an old beater. If it's a sleeper you're after, ok, but we're all not 16 anymore and how often do stoplight to stoplight drag races happen? When I was 17 and lived in Phoenix, we use to go out for cruise night and gawk at all the hot rods on Saturday night (before they outlawed cruise nights on the main street in town). I would have gawked plenty over the mechanics, but it stops there with this one.
First off, why commit to this much work with a Lemans? Not hatin' on Lemans, but a 70 GTO front end and a shiny paint job would work wonders. No pics of the interior other than the dash. There's still hope if you put a GTO front clip on it, some chrome bumpers and painted it in a cool color. The price would have to be right, but on a car like this I would guess there's over $40K in it as is. Again, the body work and mechanics on it looks solid. Hope it works out for the seller. https://www.ebay.com/itm/28522466795...wAAOSw56Vj6Cjr |

69 T/A in Texas at $200K. That's a lot of money. Has factory AC. Is that a good thing on a 69 T/A? Nice car.

What's left of a 79 T/A 10th anniversary in Nebraska at $1K NR. Ad states 99% rust free... I don't think that word means what you think it means. A lot of good parts.

67 Firebird 400 4-speed convertible at $21K OBO in Illinois. Checks a lot of boxes. Sold with a bill of sale and is a salvage vehicle. Based on the air cleaner I would think it's not NM, but then you can talk them down, so there's that. Maybe it is NM?

70 GTO 4-speed Judge in Nebraska at $59K BIN. 86K miles and the WS engine is not NM. Add in inflation and this seems cheap for this car.

Here's a different one. A 1969 Firebird NOS speedometer. I have one of these (for about 12 years), and if I were to sell it, I'd ask more than the $292 asking price. If you're restoring a 69 gauge set and want a "perfect" speedometer, this is what you need. No need to paint it, just set the numbers to what your mileage is and that's it (not sure how hard that is). Note that the mileage is 0.7... my NOS one is the same way, prolly from being bounced around the past 50+ years.

It does look like that 67 GTO could be a good deal, and wow it has a "Hertz" shifter! That's a rare part I am sure! LOL!!!

Must be a repro, cause it's a 50Hz shifter.

64 NM Bonneville convertible in AZ at $4K NR. Been in AZ for 30 years so prolly minimal rust. Interior looks like it's been redone and claims it runs, but not very well. No engine pics.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/36422053541...gAAOSwaepkOyWk ![]() ![]() ![]() These cars are really sharp when completed. Here's a pic of a Barrett Jackson car. I see pics online with the RV mirror either on the fender or the door... what's up with that? https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Even...VERTIBLE-70797
