Yes, you sign a document if it reaches reserve it is sold for that price.

Somewhat - but their reserve "suggestion" was right on the money as far as the highest bid received. What got me irritated was their AI ad copy and mulish reluctance to change it. Example was "supplementary" gauges are stuff like Stewart-Warner stuff under the dash - not factory stuff in the dash.

That said - I will accept offers of 40K for this car.
