It’s easy to get caught up in an old car search and hastily lay down the cash for the first thing you see, we all would like to see all of these old cars saved.

But it’s always wise to find the best car possible and pay more to maximize your seat time and minimize your restoration time and costs.

I’ve been guilty of that plenty of times myself. Dragging home derelict projects all too often and getting hopelessly upside down on them and waiting way too many years to finally enjoy them.

And, I'm sure, the CHP would have questioned the VIN tag coloring and investigated the rivets further.

Oh that's too bad...I wonder what is wrong with this country with all the shady sellers out there

Then again, after fifty years of modding, multiple owners and shenanigan's it is hard to know how original any car is.
