This 78 is beautiful. Of course some clown is butthurt that its still referred to as a WS6, because it now has disc brakes on the rear, when 78s had drums.
Some people just want something to complain about. Miserable bastards. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...d-trans-am-54/

Probably jacked the price up to make the trade in seem good.
Basically giving them $100 for trade-in? ($4246 real price) Or they already included the 'doc fees', undercoating etc to get the $5986? There were a lot of shady stuff back then. Forgot, it's in Canada so probably had add ons for sure to make the 'selling' price?

I know the guy selling this., He recently bought another red interior '70 T/A with a 4 speed. Supposedly they only made 5 red interior cars?

They never kept track of the numbers like that, so where guys keep coming up with these numbers is beyond me. It is amusing though.

I am thinking he assessed what to really do with that Brewster Green T/A - once you start tearing in to it mechanically there goes the original survivor vibe and now you have a nearly full resto on your hands (minus paint perhaps). And would be in just a regular 455 T/A for $125k+....

I'm thinking they bought it just to effort a profit in a year.
Looks like an ice blast effort was made underneath with lack luster results. Needs an evapo-rust bath underneath and patina reversal . (paint) Refresh most all the black pieces underhood. Lower door panel recolored and repair front valance. That's what they should have done. Would still be low mileage with original paint and interior. It sold for entirely too much money last time. |

Too bad so much was bid last time. It's going to be a hard sell, I think. It would go good with my Formula though.
