67 Lemans also in Florida (same place) at $40K BIN. Nice car. Sadly, often times cars like these, pop up in bunches when sold at an estate sale. 52K miles. I love a lemans looking like a Lemans. That's a damn handsome looking car.

79 Trans AM Silver anniversary at $10K BIN in CA. These cars were loaded with 4WDB, PS/PB/PW and red lit instruments. If you were building a T/A clone, this would be a fine start, because it's already a T/A. Bolt a 73 front end and hood, and leave the rear alone. Pull the engine out and replace it. I love the taillights on these cars.

A very knowledgable PY member bought a 71 Judge Hardtop that had been done that way .
(fraudulent PHS on a 71 GTO 455 HO car - with The Judge tacked on the bottom row)
He traveled several states away to get it - then had to haul it back there.

He posted the PHS that came with the car - I said uht oh - bad news

That was over 10 years ago , maybe over 15 years ago .....
Probably should have kept it at a reduced price - but I don't know if seller was willing to negotiate.
I think that seller also got rooked on the fraudulent PHS .

Better to splurge an extra $135 on a private copy
Than to blow thousands on a scam

It is slated for the GAA Auction in Greensboro NC this Saturday.

Car was formerly owned by a PY member , and sold earlier this year.

EDIT :
Did not meet reserve at Mecum earlier this year in Glendale AZ @ 57,000
Owner is in NC , so I'm pretty sure it is in GSO , NC now for the GAA auction.
Not Texas
Another EDIT
The GAA auction in GSO isn't until Saturday July 26th
But the Ram 4 car is slated for that day on their website.
Owner is a PY member and a longtime friend of Poncho-Mike , over in Raleigh NC area.

Recent fluffing and corrections done by Barr Restorations aka PY member 4004spd

Listing does say Sold for a Best Offer on July 11
Somebody is going to get a nuclear corn-cobbing in the rumptal region.

Seller has 300+ feedback and 100%
Big story about the car and a widowed owner.
Hubby might have left her with a big big lie , or it's all just a lie from square one.

And even tried to make the WT block appear as WS .

Trim Tag was swapped AFTER the restoration.
Tag is different hue of black and different texture than the surrounding cowl paint.

Both of those issues appear to be Very Fresh work.

They blotted out digits of the VIN on the PHS and Dash VIN.
And didn't list VIN in the normal field of the description.

My ruling is the seller is complicit at minimum , or fully responsible.

64 GTO 4-speed tri-power at $27K in CA. The car needs some work, and when you're done, it's a 64. Not sure what the market is like for a 64 GTO? 65 - 70 GTO's have their following, and I'm sure 64 does too, but I'd guess the demand for a 65 would be higher.

64 GTO was originally Nocturne Blue Metallic, a much better color than white.
