Picked up a set thinking they were OE 1974, but PN says 1971-3.
Did they have a paint line from the factory or were they painted when painting over rust? My 1973 doesn't have anything there.

No paint line, exhaust was installed after all pairing was completed.

I was thinking about when the dealership got it and repainted the underside because of rust showing. Could have been undercoating too, but I think not. Also, it looked like paint on the tip that would have been inserted into the tailpipe.
