Default does this look like an original alternator to my car

part of the re-wiring, dakota gauges swap, needed a new alternator...i don't think this is a born with alternator, my guess it replacement at some point in cars life, can anyone tell me for sure?

928 is common alt. For a 71-73 v8 with options

No, this alternator is not original to an early 2nd gen.
