Default Lock Questions - '71 GP

Got my new beater running using what the locksmith called a jiggler. Kind of a key lock pick that tow companies, etc. use to get cars loaded up or started. I asked an old time locksmith if he could make a key off the jiggler. He said no. I had another ignition lock with keys here so I just changed out the ignition cylinder and gave the tow guy his lock pick back.
I think the door and ignition locks should be keyed the same for '71, right? And the center console and trunk are the oval top keys, right?
The old ignition switch has numbers stamped on it but not so the door lock cylinder. Likewise the center console lock doesn't have any numbers on it and they drilled out the trunk lock. I can't imagine that the door lock and the console locks have both been changed out!
I luckily found the build sheet in the drivers door but there are no key codes entered in the boxes on the sheet. So that's no help.
Maybe I can just buy a console lock set and trunk lock set from Ames that are keyed the same? Without numbers the locksmith says he has never been able to do an "impression" to cut keys for these cars.
What suggestions do you guys have for me?

Default Half Way There

Went back to the locksmith. Got an ignition key made for the "original" key switch. It doesn't match the doors however. Bummer! He was able to cut a key for the console/ trunk with the numbers on the console lock. That's good but the trunk lock has been ruined and will need replaced.
My question is whether anyone who sells locks is able to match my existing keys or do you just get what they have available? How does that work?
