Hello everyone my name is Allen and I am from Missouri. I have two GTO’s 68 and 69. I need to put new coil springs on the 68 ( original ) hardtop with automatic transmission and no A/C. I was told that the 68 convertible with automatic transmission and no a/c used the same coil springs as the hardtop. Anyone know if that is correct? I can find Moog 5390 coil springs for 68 convertibles with no a/c but I can’t get any information on whether they will work or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks.

Call Coil Spring Specialties. I have a 1968 convertible with a/c and they fixed me up with exact factory springs. They are more money than Moog, but I think it is well worth it.
I also had them do springs for my 1965 hardtop some time ago. Again, top notch stuff. https://www.coilsprings.com/ |
