This is one of my many winter projects i want to get info on.
what do i do for the prep of the roof? right now, its sun-bleached faded paint with small remnants of the old vinyl top and glue. i'll post pics in a bit. should i strip the top and repaint then install? i really have no idea what to do. We drive this car alot, it will be rained on and basically a daily driver in the spring summer and fall. again pics to come with what i have fixed on the window channel in back. i also want to install this myself as i don't like to farm work out if possible. Also where the lux lemans emblems used to be i want to fill the holes. iwas going to weld them shut slight fiberglass over and finish with paint or a sealer? Time to watch a bunch of you tube as well. Thanks for the help.

Some people just epoxy prime, however I would paint it like any other panel....it will offer more protection.
