Just wondering aloud if other members feel there should be a limit to the number of times/years/pages that a "for sale" ad should be "bumped" by the poster when there are no price reductions or responses. Been wanting to ask for a few years. I'll leave it that.

After a reasonable amount of time take it down. Some people are looking for stupid money and are just seeing if they can get it.

After 2 years they should be forced to put it on eBay at No Reserve with 1.00 opening bid.
And free shipping .

stuff is worth what its worth. if someone wants to make an offer, seller's listen. if i dont adjust the price in my ads its because im already losing money. I would rather trip over it then give it away. and I have given it away, and i also have gotten things given to me or smoking deals here. I appreciate the people that have good parts. if i needed the money maybe i would lower the price of the item. as a seller you can always lower your price if you have a legitimate offer, but its hard to raise it.
i don't know if your speaking of me or people like me, but If you dont like the price or cant afford it, move on and have a nice day, because why does it matter to you?

I'm not worried about it. If someone feels inclined to have something listed for months or even years, why would it bother me? I'm not big on telling anyone what to do.
It's pretty easy to scroll past the ads that have been around for a while.

I keep bumping an ad on another forum just for the humor of it. The seller wants $25,000 for a core GTO 400 engine and TH400 trans. Base engine. Not kidding. Others have had a good laugh as well, so it's not just me.

I’ll agree that some of the BUMPing of ads gets old here. But sometimes you just need to hit the right timing for parts too. I do feel like people who really need something will use the search and PM old ads though. I know I do that when I need something.

If you do that there will be no ads and
Less traffic. I sell a lot of stuff most of it is not thru this site. I love this site and am Greatful for the knowledge shared but unfortunately it is waning

If it’s over 35$, it doesn’t sell here. If it sells, you wait for a check. Lmao
