67 Firebird convertible in Texas at $30K BIN. 326 and a 2 speed make this a nice cruiser that we've seen before. The car has 103K on it, but it doesn't look abused. It's reasonably priced, and if it were my car I wouldn't go much lower. Probably a nice car to own. Drive it on weekends or to local shows and leave it alone. I guarantee people would gawk at it.

71 Firebird 350 in CA at $17K BIN. Rust free goes a long way, but that's a chunk of change. Being a 71 doesn't hurt. Not sure why so many Pontiacs wound up with those Olds mags. It was very common to see them in junkyards back in the day.

Here's a hot mess. This car is listed as a 69 Firebird at $19K BIN in CA. It looks like a 79-81 plain Jane blue firebird, with red seats (also from a 79-81) and a 70-73 front end and hood from a Formula. I own an 80 Trans AM and have a 72 front end and T/A hood, and I plan to go this route. I think the flippers and spoilers on the Trans AM's really make the transition from front end 73 to rear end 80 more seamless. Not for the purest, but a lot cheaper than swimming in the 70-73 pond. 79-81 Trans AMs pretty much all have power brakes and PS and are great handling cars, especially with the WS6. The car here is overpriced, as it's a mixed bag with a nice paint job. The engine is a 350, so it could run well.

That 64 GTO is probably a pretty good car overall.
Paint code is Gulfstream Aqua , but the color on it now is closer to Pinehurst Green variant.
Factory disc brakes came out in 67 , not 64. But a good upgrade all the way.

Here's an interesting backstory. Impounded 56 Catalina in NY with a reserve. There's a video posted of the engine, and it looks stock. The pinks and creams on this car are more art deco than in your face IMO. The interior is interesting, and not a color I would have chosen, but it looks nice, especially the headliner. If you owned a business and parked this out front, it would become a landmark as the pink Cadillac. Not Cadillac, Catalina. ...whatever.

Thankfully he has a reserve, wouldn't want that gem to get sold off below its true immeasurable worth.
That shell of what was a 70 GTO sold for $3K. Could have been a posi, the sway bars, so other GTO stuff. If you just needed all the bolts and the nose, it may have been worth $3K.

Mr. Mud is back in Michigan at $13.5K BIN. 4 speed car and the fat stack side pipes were way rad back in the day. Stereo speakers perfectly placed in the console, in which to jam the new Journey 8 track. For $13.5K, if it runs?

79 WS7 Sundance yellow Trans AM with 92K miles in CA at $33K BIN. Original paint and interior. From what I Googled, they ran out of rear disc brake parts, so they added WS7, which was the WS6 with rear drums. Logic doesn't add up if true, as I always thought the "6" in WS6 means 6 suspension parts. Sharp color.

Prolly one of the most overpriced cars I've seen in some time, a 70 Lucy Blue Trans AM 4 speed in Washington at $150K BIN. Very nice car with a NOM 400 with Edelbrock heads and some 17" Rally II's. I don't get the chrome bling on the car. It doesn't make it go faster when the alternator and PB parts are chrome. The console is covered in some type of leather, which is something you don't see in most $100K+ cars. Again, nice car, just overpriced. I do love the 70-72 Lucy Blue cars, but I also dig the 17" honeycombs.

It's hard for me to bag on a '70 Lucy, anomalies and $ aside...they are just bee-you-tee-ful.

The door trim armrests have been leather-wrapped, too. Lots of custom work done on this one - most of it probably to the detriment of the car's value.

Even the upper door panels are non-stock by some procedure.
Seat covers might be synthetic leather hand made.
Upper panels and seat covers are not from a catalog.

Console is said to be Alcantara material . I guess that is a seude type of stuff.

I like the engine itself. And the exterior paint looks good.
Says his father bought it in 1971 with 6,000 miles.
Might get half that price if he is Lucky

Just noticed the rear plastic side panels have been covered in material also , with ribbing details similar match to door panels.
Could have spent less and get higher return staying simpler on the interior and satin black underhood.

Most likely a really good car though.

79 Trans AM gold car in AZ we've seen before with a reserve. Sun baked rust free is a great start. No T-tops is a great thing. Does the world need another solar gold 79 Trans AM? I used to have a T/A just like this (with T-tops) and sold it 15 years ago. I think it was the most popular color for T/A's in 79. It's a great base for a T/A clone of a 70-73. Not sure what the seller is asking, but at $8K it would probably sell IMO.

68 Aegean Blue Firebird 400 HO in Pennsylvania at $65K. Says it has a 2:56 posi. Why would you need a posi with 2:56 gears?
