It may be a nice base to finish. A few things, like the blacked out grilles and cock-eyed exhaust tips can be rectified. I note the interior, other than a few things like the sun visors, look to be original. That all said, if I knew this was available for this price - I would have sold my Lemans stateside and bought this - saving a lot of fiscal and mental anguish. I wonder what manor of engine rebuild was done?

Wow !
That 77 TA fiberglass body is just down the street from me. If anyone needs it I could check it out for them . I don't need it , but it's very cool. Price seems like a heckuva bargain @ $2500 |

That would be one to check the hidden VIN's on.
 The cowl tag at least looks like the wrong rivets so maybe just the wrong cowl tag.
