My ported T2 and the Holley modified by SD I borrowed from Steve C were identical on the dyno with a square bore carb. A Qjet needs a spacer for the front runners to flow better because the carb pad is closer to the top of the runners.

The proper shape of the air cleaner base can add close to 6% more air flow over a crappy one as shown by these test done by David Vizard a number of years ago.

As i've posted longk ago, the Torker I can do very well with a Plenum porting(hogout) using a drill press and rasp to unshroud the runner ceilings from/to the Spreadbore openings.
Becomes a low 10 sec manifold for under 5-Lbs metal, and supports 9.0:1 Street use too. Otherwise the 68-70's Factory iron Manifold is good enough for Street use, having the air-inhale isolation (5-7, 2-1, 4-3, 6-5) that the single-planes lack. I hope the Speedmaster dual-plane is "all that" the Factory Iron is, with bonus being the Fuel Injection bosses. Airhorns; itsa all true. I figure the trumpet opening is best: inlet edge is 90* from the air flow, like a musical trumpet but squat.

That's pretty good. I've taken a few out of the box untouched and made good power with them. One made 507hp on a very mild pump gas 455 with no porting. So they'll support what the OP is asking for without any work if the rest of the combo is well thought out.
