Cleaned them as I do an engine, washed them out with hose. Then brake clean and air. Coated the stems with oil when I put them together, Guess something could have got in one but 4 and only exhaust.
I will keep the timing in mind. figured 32 would be a good safe starting point. |

This happened to a friends E heads. But, it was years after the heads were built. The reason, we believe is it was run very lean due to a failing and not caught in time fuel pump and failing to re-jet for lower altitude.
