But I gotta say, Nightshade and Springmist are both unusual greens and in ways that really appeal to me. First time I met Jim Mattison in person was at the Kansas City POCI, about 89, 90? He had that RA I in Springmist there that year. Might have been his first Firebird resto..

I caught a couple of print photos of it that are buried somewhere, but the background was the stand of trees at the car show site. The green foliage dominated the green on the car making it appear as a light silver on the prints. I wish I'd caught some photos with a different background to show off the delicate hint of green in that paint. It was beautiful.
Its only proper to fill in the gaps.
When Jim got that car it was resale red, he said it could have been shown as red,it was that nice of a repaint, but he chose to "correct" it.Tip of the hat Jim.

69 GTO Judge Ram Air IV 4-speed matching numbers in Iowa at $250K BIN. It's only original once. Amazing car. I sold some parts to a guy who had a 69 Trans AM frame off... perfect. He said if he had just left it alone when he bought it, it would be worth a bunch more.

69 GTO Judge frame off 4-speed at $118K BIN in Washington. It's a Canadian car. It doesn't say it's number matching, but it doesn't say it isn't... FWIW.

69 GTO in CA at $45K BIN. 68K miles and runs well. Of the RAIV Judge and the blue Judge, this car is the best deal IMO.

would like to see whats hiding under that steering wheel cover.
Also whats hiding under the blue paint on the 62.
I believe it should have been clear on upper and lower halves

It appears that $45K will buy it.

Here's an odd combo... 80 Firebird Yellowbird with a reserve in Las Vegas. Has a 6.0L LS engine and digital gauges. As far as the ultimate sleeper, the Yellow and Redbird Firebirds are my least favorite. The suspension looks stock, so going in a straight line would be ok. Some projects I just don't get the inspiration, and this in one of them.

Yeah it's a girly-girl car. My ex had one with the 301. We bought it privately in NJ when we still lived on Long Island. Drove it across NYS to Buffalo for the POCI whenever that was, 81, 82? Still had the 1" whitewall tires from new. I added a spoiler.

Traded it in at McNamara Pontiac in Orlando for a new 84 Firebird 5.0L after moving there, and a black guy bought it. Saw it around Orlando for many years afterwards with him driving, although never got to speak with him.

That's an impressively long upper radiator hose.
