The radio in that '67 Catalina is from a '64.

BTW... that car is way overpriced...

76 Trans AM with a 72 front end at $58K in Texas. The 400 engine has been "freshened up" by a mechanic, with no pics in the ad. This car is also overpriced. I do applaud the builder tho, going with a non-stock color. I'm going to do the same thing to my 80 turbo Trans AM WS6. I already have the hood and front end from a 72, along with a 400. I'm planning on painting it Lucerne blue with a white stripe with wider than normal 15" Rally II's. I was playing with the idea to paint it 1980 Montreaux Maroon, and I even bought the maroon decal for it, but I don't have the guts to do it.

Look very closely at the convertible.
Substandard repair of floor pan, coolant leaks etc.
But I see very rare knitweave inserts on the seats.
Yes it is a beautiful color combo

I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me
Car was built in 67 ,which having parchment knit weave that early could go either way.
But youre right.either the front or rear has been replaced.
It could be the fronts have been replaced as the harder I look,it seems its a reproduction of knit weave
without the ventilation.

That Grand Prix seems like a dealer made a mistake when ordering it.
Who buys a stripped down personal luxury car?

Good point. Plus, if you're only going to add six options, why would Cordova top be one of them?

This car sold for $9700. Someone made a nice score. This is the kind of car you want to start with, basically because no one else has done any backyard tinkerin' on it.

80 Turbo Trans AM pace car at $2500 BIN in Florida. Has new floor pans, so someone put some work into it. Ad says the engine is "almost" running... not sure what that means. These cars all came with power steering, power windows, power locks, cruise control, AM/FM Delco radio with cassette, tachometer, gauges, WS6 suspension and four-wheel disc power brakes. That's a lot of options for $2500. The ad says the car only has 53K miles on it.

A word to the wise
Ive always said that northern cars rot from the bottom up
and Florida cars rot from the top down.
That hood is a good example of what happens when you cover with a tarp
when average humidity is 90%.....Swiss cheese
