I recently purchased from summit. They advertised a power top/ 6way relay to plug in to the top switch with some modifications to existing wiring. I cant figure out how its suppose to work. Anyone have any suggestions on how to wire it in?
I think you need two of them to make it operate the top. I think I should have just bought the relays with pigtails and put my own packard plugs on. |

Can you post a picture of it?

Sorry, I should also have asked if you have a picture of the original relay you are wanting to replace.

No relay existed. 66 2+2 power top switch sent power through the switch to the pump. Over time it burns up the switch. Installing relay to carry the load. Switch just triggers the relay.

Ok, that helps. I'll see if I can find a drawing for you online tomorrow and if not I'll draw one.
Yes, you need 2 relays. One for "UP" and one for "DOWN"

Thanks. The unit I purchased was billed as it would work with a few wiring mods. I thought this unit would take the place of two separate relays. I have a wiring diagram for two relays and have a couple on the way..
