i just got a new CVR mini starter. i tried to put it on and it wont line up. the "gear" that comes out to turn the flywheel needs to come forward. not just a little bit either. somewhere around 5/16". anyone else have this problem ? this doesnt sound right to me at all. the motor is a 428. factory flywheel,converter....400 turbo tranny. any suggestions ? im thinking about getting the plate that holds/mounts the starter to the block trimmed down.
