With distributor connected to manifold vacuum source, where does the vacuum go when you get to part/full throttle? I've been fine tuning my 400 for best feel and I notice that manifold vacuum will not go away unless you really jump on the gas -- then it comes back. If you slowly rev engine to 3000+, vacuum stays?? How does this affect the vacuum advance can? I'm getting slight pinging under part throttle so I figure I need to drop my total Vacuum advance down but was just wondering about manifold vacuum affect on the dist can. Thanks
