In my engine, (one I just purchased) found during a dismantle last month. Most of the large pieces were found in the heads and valve springs. Most of the smaller pieces on the oil pump screen, at least the pump works. Metal and rubber(hard). Three guesses anyone? Anyone have an idea what would've caused this failure and how to prevent?
90% done on the rebuild and all is looking good.
Sorry about the crappy PC cam pic. That's a quarter and a dime for size reference....psst I know what they are, but I thought a post like this may help others.....
