I have a chevy engine that I was told was a 68 327, but casting shows 64-7 327. anyway, I wanted to put an aluminum intake, like a reg performer on it. they list for 55 and up 305-400, but what about the oil filler tube in the front? Looks like it may cover, but my 69 block doesn't seem to bulge out as much in that area. will it fit and what other mods might I need to do? I also want to find a way to get rid of or modify the back breather opening on the back of the block, that tube wraps around the distributor and goes to the original air cleaner I won't be using, it'll just get in the way. can I just make a block off plate and bolt it on?
By the way, it's for a 66 chevy p/u, but I bought it to tow my 68 firebird to the drag strip.
