I have a 73 Grandville convertible -- and the top refuses to go up in one smooth step. It stops -- you let it "cool off" and then it'll go a bit further. If you have someone to run the switch for you and you give it a little help - a light lifht on the leading edge, it will usually go up in one or two tries.

I've replaced the relay, the motor, and the cables.

I may have got a bad relay -- but it seems like there may a mechanical issue with the top mechanism.

Anyone know of a place in the Atlanta area that handles repair of the mechanics of a top?
