Bought a '64 convertible over the summer that I'm going to restore...my last one...guy I bought it from said the engine developed a chatter after he had the oil changed...when I got it, no chatter, but after it has been idling for awhile (approx. 5 minutes), there is a slight chirping noise from the front of the engine and it get sharper louder and to a point that the engine does not want to idle without giving it gas. There is no smoke and almost seems like it could be a pulley or something? Could it be a water pump bearing, or power steering bearing, or is it something internal, like a cam bearing or rod??? Thanks
