I have a 67 GTO Conv with a three speed Dearborn (Ford) tranny. I was wondering if anybody out there has this tranny and the Hurst shifter. I'm trying to replace either the rubber grommets that go in the shifter arm holes and the tranny arm holes that the shifter rods go into. I bought the Hurst pit pack so I could replace the bushings but it appears that the bushings do not fit in the shifter arm holes. On this transmission am I supposed to use the OE Rubber Grommets that Mr Gasket sells or the Hurst pit pack? If it is the OE Rubber Grommets, do I use the Ford grommets or the GM grommets?
