I'm in the process of switching out the manifold and 2bbl Rochester on my 66 YD 389.
I'm going with a manifold and 4bbl Carter from a 65 YF 389.
Is there any info or advice I need to know by doing this switch? Looks to me that it will be a direct replacement with no hassles. It's in a 66 Cat with turbo hydramatic and a/c. Should everything connect right up? Accelerator linkage, vacuum line for the tranny etc? I'm pretty sure the camshaft for my YD is different than the YF. Any issues there?? Thanks...
