Just when we thought she was ready to go, we discovered that the rear of the TH400 is almost touching the floor of the car! It appears that the cross member is too high (don't know what else it could be). The driveshaft almost rubs on the floor. Question: did former owner put in a wrong crossmember? Is there a different crossmember for TH400 than 4 speed (in case they were converting or something)? Does anyone have the correct part number for TH400 crossmember for 67 GTO? Any help out there?
