I striped a sub frame down this afternoon that I want to build up for my firebird. I noticed that the passenger crossmember looks like it took a pretty good hit at one time in its life. ( I can fix that) I started cross measuring from diferant points and it seems to be racked about 1/2 " from all points of measurments that I took. Do you think that is too much and should be racked back to a closer tolerance or will the front end alighnment be able to compensate for the racked frame? Its not twisted because it lies flat on the garage floor and floor to frame measurements are all real close. I'm planning on running all Global West A frames with S/S Disc brakes. Before I have it acid dipped, sand blasted and powdercoated I'd like a little more input on the subject. Thanks for your input!
