I have a 1968 Tempest Custome Convertible
When I shut down and take the key out my generator light stays on. It is simulating being in the on position. I do have a battery cut-off. If I cut the battery off then reconnect the lights sometimes stays off but occasionally stays on. The car has a new battery, altenator, and voltage regulator. The problem has not seemed to cause any drainage problem on the battery however I do cut off my battery when the car is not in use. I have been told it could be the ignition switch or a short. I would appreciate an suggestions on how to diagnose and resolve this issue |
