Hello Everyone,

I have been trying to find some info about using 350 heads on a 305.

I have a 1980 TA that has a 305 but is not the original motor. I also have a rusty 350 long block in my garage. The heads are GM cast number 3947041. Found this on the internet:

3947041....69-70...302/350......"Right angle" casting identifier, 64cc chamber, accessory holes, good HP head

If i had the heads cleaned and ready to install, do you think they would work on the 305? I am thinking of maybe using these heads with a Edelbrock Performer intake and Headers to let the motor breath better.
