I'm looking for a shop in the NYC area to rework a set of #14 heads. These heads are off of a 68 GTO (2bbl. option). Beyond a basic rebuild I am looking to have the following work done:
- Open bowls to install larger 2.11/1.77 valves - Install hard exhaust seats - Shave the heads to bump compression ratio from 8.6 to around 9.0-9.3 - Replace press-in studs with screw-in - Maybe some port work Prefer a shop on Long Island but any recommendations in the Tri-State area are appreciated.
