Ok need need some ideas for traction on the street. I went out last night and got spanked big time. on the track I hook fine the street I spin like on ice. I was on slicks too. I'm think of going from a 10x26 to a 11.5x26 or 28 and see if that helps. also I'm running a non posi. but that dosn't really matter since they both hook with the way I have the suspention set up. but I am going with a posi. big problem is the gears I have in the posi rearend are 3.08's. i'm worried that if I go to a 3.08 and a 28 ich tall tire i will lose all the gear I have. but will this help it spin less? or will it spin worse like my boss keeps telling me? I think the 3.08's and 28 will work great with nitrous. the way it is now there is no way I would ever hook on nitrous.
basicly both cars I raced where proably slower cars, but they hooked and I spun. I hate that sonce the car had always hooked. would putting in the ultradyne cam I have help? I belive it makes less low end TQ and way more HP. just wanting some ideas and thoughts. |
