hey everyone,
I'm wondering about the leaf springs on my car. I'm replacing the springs, bushings, shackles, pads and hardware. The springs I took off my car had 6 leafs. I got my springs through Eaton Spring in Detroit and they said that many folks back in the 80's put Nova 6 leaf springs on their F body to firm up the ride and get better launches. What I'm wondering is if anyone else has the "Nova" set up on their car and since I'm converting back to a 4 leaf set up how will this effect the ride and the stance of my car?
Also why don't you want to mix and match poly and rubber bushings? I was gonna put poly's in the rear because they fit better than the rubber OER replacements I got.
Thanks
